Millerton, NY

Went camping in the Berkshires last weekend and found WKZE, a killer freeform local radio station with little and only local advertising (i.e. farms and beeswax candles and other good shit).  They played the perfect soundtrack for driving through the brilliant foliage.

I'm headed back into the woods soon, and here's a playlist inspired by WKZE and autumn far from the city.

(to all the artists not making shit from Spotify, I promise I'll give you all my money when I'm employed again, thank you for understanding)

Efterklang - Piramida

Efterklang will release their new album Piramida September 25th in the US.  JOY!!

They will also be performing material from the new album September 22nd at The Met.

From The Met website:
"For this collaboration with the sixteen-member Wordless Music Orchestra and guest conductor Matthew Coorey, Efterklang has engaged classical arrangers Missy Mazzoli (Kronos Quartet, Victoire), Karsten Fundal (Under Byen, Oh Land), and Daníel Bjarnason (Sigur Rós, Múm). For this special concert, Efterklang (Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen, Rasmus Stolberg) will perform as a six-piece, augmented by Peter Broderick (piano), Katinka Fogh Vindelev (choir), and special guest Budgie (drums)."

Get yer ticket and I'll see yins there.
